Product Overview

The Alternating Current (AC) Power Cord is mainly used in the ultrasound machines, Computed Tomography (CT) machines and a few other Digital Imaging (DI) machines. It is the connection between the AC power outlet and cart power input. It has several respective types to meet the requirements of the standards being followed in different countries, including voltage, frequency and safety regulation, etc. This particular AC power cord is used in United States (US) and the manufacture follows their codes and standards. It has a straight cable with a 3 pin input plug at one end and a 3 pin straight connector at the other end, which connects with the adaptor and continues to the system. Both the ends have protective grounds for safety purposes. It comes with a label which has the basic details printed on it. The power cord has to be plugged in while using and disconnected properly while moving the system from one place to other. The plug is molded according to NEMA 5-15 (Hospital Grade) standard. To prevent damage to the power cord, do not pull excessively on the cord or make sharp bends while wrapping. They come with smooth finishing without any burrs, sharp edges, surface blemishes, sink marks and flash marks.
