The Shoulder Screws are also known as shoulder bolts. They are machine screws that have an unthreaded shoulder under the head, that is larger in diameter than the threads. Shoulder screws have three major main parts section head, shoulder and thread. The head is the largest diameter, while the thread has a major diameter that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the shoulder. It acts like a shaft or dowel for the rotation or sliding of attached parts.
