The Silhouette-VR Electro Magnetic Lock (4) are used to control and arrest the inherent movement of relatively movable members of the X-Ray apparatus. The electro magnetic locks are self-adjusting and are subject to remote control. The electro magnetic lock embodies a magnetic core surrounded by an energizing coil and have a flexible part which holds the apparatus. A source of electrical energy is connected to one end to energize the coil and polarize the magnet. The electro magnetic lock have sufficient power to provide positive magnetic locking action between the stationary and movable members of the apparatus. The lock is comprised of Iron core, coil, insulated washer, pin, insulated terminal, and soft pipe. The GE product is an innovation and technology which fits well into versatile customer needs. It is manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The part is diligently designed for high performance and reliability. It is securely packaged inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details. Every unit is shipped with its individual signed test report included in the package. The testing covers all internal components and external connections.
