Product Overview

The Compression Spring is used in the bag arm assembly. In the bag arm assembly, the compression spring is fixed in between the bag arm base and ring locking arm side for providing intense pressure to the assembly. The compression spring is made up of a stainless steel material and it is a compression fat wire type. Type 17-7 PH (Precipitation-Hardening) stainless steel in sheet and strip forms provide a valuable property combination. This special alloy also provides high strength and good corrosion resistance, as well as excellent properties for flat springs up to 600° F (316° C). The 17-7PH grade steel provides high strength and hardness, excellent fatigue properties, good corrosion resistance and minimum distortion upon heat treatment.
