Product Overview

The Seal 80mm ID 114mm OD Neoprene Canister ABS is a mechanical seal that fills the space between two or more joining surfaces, often to prevent leakage while the joined objects are under compression. The shape and size vary according to the requirement. It acts as a leakage preventing device under various levels of loads. This seal is made of Neoprene. It is a type of synthetic rubber produced by the polymerization of chloroprene. The Neoprene rubber gasket has good chemical stability, superb weathering and ozone resistant properties as well as being suitable for use with greases, inorganic salts, acids, water and oils. The material possesses good thermal stability over a wide temperature range.
