Product Overview

This M6 size 70 mm long Socket Head Cap Screw (SHCS) is a temporary joint that can be removed without damaging components, and used with nuts or directly driven into tapped holes. Socket Head Cap screws are commonly used in machine assembly, especially for removable panels and parts. They are ideal for precision work with close tolerances and applications needing a well tooled appearance and have greater tensile strength than Hex Head Cap screws. They have a round cap head with a hex socket drive and are tightened with a socket wrench drive. Stainless steel material provides the socket head screw with good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. These screws are compatible to be used in the assemblies of GE's Avance, Aespire and Modulus SE Anesthesia Delivery systems. The material will be shipped in suitable packaging to give adequate protection during transit.
